Happy Australia Day!

So today is Australia day. If we were back in Oz, we'd probably be having a BBQ with our family and enjoying the hot summer day. Instead today, l will just reflect back on some of the things l love about Australia. The laid back living, the beautiful beaches, fish n chips(mmm), the smell of gum trees, cadbury chocolate (just can't get good chocolate here), arnotts biscuts, visiting my family, going up to the farm and visiting my in laws, the abundance of multicultural restaurants, and Vic market. These of course are just a few of my favourite Aussie things.

Here are the rest of the one a day photos.

Happy Australia Day Mate!

Day 21

Love having the house smell good and this little vignette in the kitchen.

Day 20

Just the usual Sunday afternoon baseball practice.

Day 19

Finally found an album for my one a day photos. Love seeing them all come together.

Day 10 Photo

I'm trying really hard to catch up and stay on track. Am still enjoying the whole process and love looking at things from different angles.

10/366

You don't always like to practice, but l sure do love hearing you play.

Happy Birthday to my Zii

So today is my Zio Alberto and Zia Angela's birthday. Yes they were both born on the same day. Unfortunatley they live in Rome, Italy and it's been a while since we last saw eachother.

Have a happy birthday Zii, hope you have a great day and l know you will be celebrating it with your family. Wish we could be there with you.

More of My "Photo a Day"

OK, so I'm really enjoying this photo a day challenge it's fun to come up with ideas of what to photograph during my day. Some of it will be pretty mundane, but oh well that's life. It's not always fast and fun filled. This challenge will let me look back in a year on all the everyday things one forgets when looking back on scrapbooks that only highlight the events in ones life.

So here are the rest of my days. Enjoy.

4/366

I'm still finding this stuff around the house.

5/366

This officially means the Festive season has finished.

6/366

I guess no matter how new the year is, you still have to do laundry.

7/366

Yes the homework begins again. Lucky for me She is one very smart and self motivated girl.

8/366

Love making my pasta sauce and the smell of sauteed vegetables throughout the kitchen.

9/366

Amazed they lasted this long. But alas they disapeared soon after the photo was taken.
